Comprising eight residential-style lodges with "stunning views", this Colorado Springs resort attracts "nature-lovers" with its "lovely location", although some say the "very 1990s" Rocky Mountain–inspired interiors "need a face lift"; there are "many opportunities for active-minded visitors" including tennis, a lake, Olympic-sized pool and golf at a Pete Dye–designed course, and though free they're "actually a short drive (or walk) away" at the adjacent country club.

Good food.
$15 "hotel fee" for nothing.
Hotel "demands" a mandatory $15 hotel fee regardless if you use anything. I was there for one (1) night on a business trip and wasn't going to use any amenities. They charged me regardless.
